About
MindCraft Alpha
Explore the world of Computer Science in just 1 day! On the day of the MindCraft workshop, students will have the opportunity to explore CS in two different sessions, robotics and computational thinking. Both sessions are delivered in an interactive manner, where students get to learn, apply, play, and enjoy with their friends. The goal of these workshops is to spread awarness about the field of CS & its importance. To each workshop we invite 80 to 100 students from high schools all around Qatar. To make our workshops more relatable & applicable, we offer different themes like sustainability & cybersecurity. Read more about what we do for each theme below!

Robotics
Robotics is essential for teaching computer science, offering fun, interactive, and easy exploration for students. In this workshop, students learn basic programming concepts and program robots to solve various challenges, with themes changing annually to include topics like self-driving cars and AI.
Computational Thinking
Computer scientists need skills beyond coding, such as problem solving and critical thinking. At MindCraft, students explore various aspects of computer science, including computational thinking topics like searching, sorting, cryptography, and algorithms like the traveling salesman problem.
