About
Who we are
MindCraft is an educational initiative aimed towards inspiring and empowering learners to analyze and solve real-world problems using Computational Thinking (CT). Since its launch in September 2016, the main goal of this initiative is to raise awareness about CT and its profound importance in today's world. At Carnegie Mellon University, we believe in ideas that change the world, and we see CT as a superpower that can transform your ideas into reality. In an era where emerging technologies' are rapidly evolving, and the demand for innovative solutions is ever-increasing, CT has become the driving force behind industry transformation.
MindCraft was born out of the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the power of Computational Thinking (CT); it's not just about coding, it's about gaining the tools to create, innovate, and lead in a tech-driven future. We accomplish this by engaging learners and community partners from schools, universities, and beyond, to experience a wide range of outreach activities and educational programs. Through creative hands-on workshops, engaging in-depth camps, and collaborative ondemand projects, MindCraft offers attendees a chance to explore the limitless possibilities of CT. Whether you're new to the field or looking to deepen your understanding, our program is designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and empower participants to take control of technology. Join us on this journey and discover how you can harness the power of Computational Thinking to make a lasting impact on the world.
