About

Who we are

MindCraft is an outreach program for Computer Science that was launched in September 2016 with a mission to inspire and educate the next generation of tech innovators. The main goal of the program is to raise awareness about Computer Science (CS) and its profound importance in today's world. At Carnegie Mellon University, we believe in ideas that change the world, and we see CS as a superpower that can transform your ideas into reality. In an era where emerging technologies are rapidly evolving, and the demand for innovative solutions is ever-increasing, CS has become the driving force behind industry transformation.

MindCraft was born out of the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the power of Computer Science—it's not just about coding; it's about gaining the tools to create, innovate, and lead in a tech-driven future. Through hands-on workshops, engaging in-depth camps, and collaborative ondemand projects, MindCraft offers students of all ages a chance to explore the limitless possibilities of CS. Whether you're new to the field or looking to deepen your understanding, our program is designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and empower participants to take control of technology. Join us on this journey and discover how you can harness the power of Computer Science to make a lasting impact on the world. Know more about us through our numbers:
